Wireless, Wireline and ANY Verizon Employee please stay home tomorrow. Call center and Fios employees everyone just stay home tomorrow. On the Wireline side people have been wrongly laid off due to age discrimination and other various improper reasons. And on the Wireless side compensation has been unjustly cut to save the company money while it breaks profit records this year. We together Wireline and Wireless are sick and tired of being treated like numbers and being asked to do more with less and do more for even less pay. We have familys and lives and it feels like Verizon is just using us simply because they can. So tomorrow we show them we stand together and as ONE. Spread the word to any and All employees. Wireline has a contract. No one has been laid off because of age....with age, comes seniority...they would be the last to be laid off. No layoffs without three eisp’s being offered. No eisp’s offered to 99% of the wireline side yet....so no layoffs. Bad info or a troll.
When will companies like Verizon learn it us the employees who made the company successful not some out of touch board room monkeys.
