Retention bonuses were given in IT last week. I have personal knowledge of this.

Retention bonus was only to very select few. Noone is going to acknowledge this due to sensitive nature of info. It is NOT related to keeping people in the event of a buyout.
They were all given 149.95, an amount equal to 3 months pay.
Not true.
complete BS. I'm in IT and nobody in our org all the way up to the VP has been offered nor given one. Maybe VDSI has done so but not stateside.
Is this stateside or vdsi ?

I heard that ONLY SOME were offered retention bonuses.
Many have not been offered one.
