Quinnipiac university looking to get rid of follett bookstore in local CT location. The new university president loves the store but but is not crazy about follett. . She has hired outside consulting company to closely monitor Follett store operations. and see if the university can do better. It can!!! Most universities are apathetic towards the bookstore. As long as they get their check, they don't care. Stanford University is a portrait in apathy. Their store was beautiful. Its trade business was better than the text business. It enjoys year round tourist traffic. Once the university divested its interest (meaning it's un-interested), the place fell a part. It's a poorly polished dump now. Thank you Follett! Thank you university "leadership"
