I come here often and I get so tired of seeing this post. If You are going to post here, use a little common sense before you pull the trigger.

It's not Lehman Brothers, You dumb-a--. It's WorldCom, OK?

It's WorldCom!!! At least, then You will be in the right industry.

You're only kidding yourself if you think T is not as fraudulent as Lehman.

t started going into debt when randall took over, and have never proven themselves to manage it since.

management is just kicking the can down the road...like the baby boomers and how they gifted themselves retirement with the pension plan. LMAO. making $40k/year in 1970 c-ap couldn't even afford health insurance. with a lump sum payout. would be livin their cars. randy has accumulated more debt than any company in the world. and will retire and pass the buck to the next generation

As soon as they interact with customer service they will be looking for ways out. Cutting out customer service is Randall’s first priority.

Moreover who wants either a land line or to pay for cable tv these days ? That business is dead. Wireless is stagnant and there is nothing there to make me want to buy from us over another competitor.

Subtract all the sponsoring of sporting events and such and the at&t brand recognition becomes nothing but very poor customer service. Of course, you don't have to believe me, simply ask any customer that's had to deal with them.

@gok, you really are a mo--n. if no one wants its products how come they have so many customers? with all the promotions the magenta and yellow companies throw customers way ATT still is gaining customers. sure its not as robust as they want or as robust as the other companies. ATT is heavenly in debt and that is a huge concern for shareholders and employees. but its not unmanageable. Lehman brothers failed because they were doing illegal and shady stuff. ATT MUST address its CS weakness and find ways to lower its prices for its products to grow its customer base. Letting employees go will only work for a time.

Brand recognition only from the millions used to sponsor stadiums and celebrities , not from the products or services that anyone really wants,

I assume you are not a current employee. If you are, shame on you, if you are not who cares what you think? Keep in mind att was “down on the ropes” back in the late last Century. SBC came in and bought them. ATT will survive. Its still an iconic brand despite you negative nellies.
