I remember it like it was yesterday: Stratton standing on stage annoucing the 6 new markets in wireless. So exciting! All the little vteamers in the room were applauding after every one of his sentences like good little koolaide drinkers. And then almost right after the call, the axe started swinging like crazy. Regional and area employees were wiped out in one swift action.
Anyone see a trend here? Get ready.

I like to imaging the praise of that was very sarcastic. I mean you have to find hope and entertainment when you can. Someone forced them to keep it so they went out of there way to thank them. 😶
Agree it was terrible !!!! No clear vision at all.
More of the same old nonsense was discussed. The question is that’s probably the way they wanted it delivered. Why hype everyone up to stay when they clearly want people gone.

Not a single question about the VSP? I bet there were 50 that came in on the ipad and were passed over. Q&A was even more worthless than the rest of the presentation.

Wow has Verizon gone down the toilet.
Trying to stay optimistic - more changes may come after VSP is final, but I think we won’t see more changes until late 2019 after all VSP shakes out. These new structures are going to take some time to pan out.
But wait your forgetting Diego's earthshaking marketing campaign. "Open for Business" what a marketing genius! How many millions does he make?

That call was a joke. No big merger deals, no technology innovation announcements ... no information about the Management Offer, no strategic vision ... just a lot of bad English ("Five -Yee") and announcing the new team and their great new organizations. We have been doing that for the past 20 years. That is all we do .... reorg and rif, reorg and rif.
