Applying for Verizon

If Verizon is such a sinking ship...why do people in retail stay? I was almost considering applying but reading through this makes me rethink the decision.

@VWpSUuC You think visible is a test run?

Retail will eventually get sold off to a national authorized dealer along with the employees. VZ will get out of the retail stores and just deal with customers online. Hear of Visible?

I was promised 75k a year as a sales rep. Then they changed the comp plan a few months ago and now if you ad the numbers it's essentially a 35k a year job. Stick around at Verizon long enough and you'll realize leadership is comprised of liars and b---s--- artists.

This sums it up

It’s a job. Sometimes having a job can get you in the door somewhere else when not having a job doesn’t.

Most don't stay once it becomes apparent the job is nowhere near well paying as the company eludes it to be.

For the most part they don’t. My store has a ridiculously high turnover.
