The leadership doesn’t want the feedback from the workforce

If so, that's truly pathetic! The company was doing some employee surveys and "focus groups" following the Spectra acquisition, but that seems to have stopped about a year ago. It's also been a while since they put out a feedback survey of any kind (at least that I've seen). Nobody in their right mind would post anything remotely controversial on Yammer unless they have one foot out the door already, and in the rare occasion someone does, the execs don't respond in a way that encourages more dialogue - it gets moved offine or some vague policy or initiative "TBA" gets mentioned.

So, from my perspective, if you aren't providing a safe forum for people to voice their concerns, you shouldn't be surprised if people start sh--ting all over the public internet where all your shareholders and potential investors can see it. Offer a truly anonymous survey and then do a meeting to address the feedback (and then actually, like, fix stuff) and you'll see less talk here? Just a thought

Breaking news !!! ELT never CARED FOR YOU OR YOUR Opinion. You just didn't realize it because oil was $100 and the bonuses were fat and the raises were great. Now that the $100 oil train is gone and ELT still wants their fat bonuses, guess who takes a hit. If the CEO before Al was so great, why did he pick this psycho dumba$$ to be his successor. The previous CEO just rode on high oil prices and access to cheap credit and looked like a star. Same thing with Spectra ex CEO, if he was that great how come they wasted $ to hire ex playboy cover girl as director. So please guys lose the illusion that they ever care about us. Simple check is, they think they are worth $10-15 million but you are worth peanuts.... Yeahhhh they care about me

Yammer is NOT the place to voice an opinion as it's not a safe environment. Yammer is for posting photos of your team doing great things as no one wants to be seen as dead wood or not an enthusiastic employee. To present otherwise is noted by HR and you have a target on your back.

The only way to be heard is if you offer advice to cut costs, increase productivity or boost the stock price. Your happiness is not of much concern to ELT.
