I think it all boils down to whether AT&T is charging more for Dish subscribers then it does for Comcast and Charter subscribers, along with whether or not Dish is seeking in the new contract, substantial reductions in their costs. The devil is in the details, and I don't know the details, which would be, what is Dish paying now, and what would be the new deal.

"DISH suggested using binding, baseball-style arbitration to determine the fair market value of HBO and Cinemax."

That might work.

This is good news. Now AT&T can run the competition out of business by jacking up content prices. After they are sole provider they can charge as much as they want and AT&T......WILL RULE THE WORLD!!!!!!!.........buy stock now while its cheap. Democrats will take the house next week so Trump will not be able to stop AT&T then.........

BUY STOCK NOW TO OFFSET YOUR FUTURE CABLE BILL AS AT&T IS ABOUT TO RULE THE WORLD!!!!

Previous post makes sense, Yes, his name is Randall Stephenson, he just realized the big mistake he made, and wants the courts to force the split, that way he can keep his job, tactic taken from the used car salesman manual 101

I wonder if this is an action taken by someone in TW trying to help scuttle the merger appeal.

Lawyers run this conglomerate from rhe top, and devious Human Resources units from the bottom. showing a skillful use of underhanded tactics, when I think AT&T this comes to mind: to achieve unethical, deceitful, dishonest, dishonorable, unprincipled, immoral, unscrupulous, fraudulent, dubious, unfair, treacherous, duplicitous, #ToxicAT&T

I cannot for the life of me, understand how this is helpful to AT&T's case before the Justice Department.
