Thank you for the info. Totally correct about timing per the thread.
For all those that lash out about vague or inaccurate info and predictions on this site, all the dates ACROSS divisions, from one layoff period (year) to another, have turned out to be CORRECT.
I greatly appreciate this site.
My IT department just laid off 5 people today (in November after the election, as previously stated).
There isn't anyone who knows when layoffs will hit until the day it is going to happen unless you are a senior VP commenting here. So whomever is on here saying otherwise, show some proof. There is no need for fear mongering on this site. Real people are afraid of losing their jobs and I think they have enough to worry about without that. Have some compassion.
I'm in IT at WF, how did you find out that IT was being laid off mid November?
US based IT supposed to be middle of Nov., no word on numbers. But they have been forced to only hire from India for years now.

Sorry folks-Layoffs resuming in November and then will be stopped for the holidays with more coming in early 2019
Unlikely. As tone-deaf as mgmt can be they are not going to announce any significant layoffs until after the election. After that, either very soon or they wait until after Thanksgiving.
What org is layoffs supposed to happen this week?
