Any news on cash office? I keep hearing theres more changes coming just waiting on the news and thinking what department I might fit in the future. Also hear they are getting rid registers and making them self check outs sometime next year?

WalMart is test marketing stores where their cashier supervisors are taking care of cash office in the mornings or something like that. It's supposed to go company wide. No word on whether or not when it will happen to Sam's. We got the machine, so I suspect it will happen eventually. Our new CM is wanting to eliminate more and more of the paperwork we do. I won't be surprised. Just hoping to make it through next summer then I'm out. Not waiting on a sinking ship....
We are all self checkouts except four registers. We are in Ohio.
Sam’s Club .. is struggling, Walmart is stagnant as to why they have to do something with the baby so the Motherload can profit ... or the whole ship will go down ... common sense
Yes, closing unproductive stores and stores that were siphoning membership bases from one another will increase sales growth. Something a company does to increase profits, not something a sinking company does. If you need to see what that looks like google Eddie Lampert.
Hi John Furner. Pleased you could join us @bia. They only have "growth" because they closed stores. Look deeper. We all have a front row seat and see it. They do know what they're doing to make themselves look good. It's all for the shareholders. Nobody else.
a multi billion dollar company with a sales growth of 2.8% in 2018 is "going down the tubes", I know a lot of employees are uneducated but i hope you can understand what growth means
Our club just got 90% self check out .... US
US dont have self checkout yet?
At the rate this place is going down the tubes I doubt there will be any positions to take in the future.
