How is the job search going for everyone? I’ve been putting it off like an id--t so going to hit it hard this week. I need to check the job market here in Northeast Ohio before I make my decision on taking the VSP. I’m in sales so hoping to jump to a competitor or some other company and will take the money and run!

I got a potential offer for a similar job. Entry level type job with no future concentrating on the worst of my job so I passed.

In wireline as well, never considered myself management, however was offered VSP. Been window shopping for a new job, but not submitting applications or wasting others time until I'm confirmed as leaving. 🤞
Sales is one of the easiest jobs to find in the market, especially right now as companies are staffing up to attack 2019. I think you will find it worthy of consideration to take the package, put it in the bank and go sell some new stuff.
OP here...I’m on the wireline side of VZ, and I heard all management employees including sales received the VSP offer.
The only people that are toxic are the
CWA corn holes !
If you have "Verizon" on your resume, you're toxic.
@cdj which offer are you talking about? The management offer is 11/10 to accept, 11/17 to rescind acceptance, 12/10 notify and 12/28, 3/28, 6/28 off payroll. There WAS an associate offer as well this month. I believe they went off payroll 10/26.
I am confused, I had only until the 16th to make the choice and everyone who is getting it has been notified. I am in sales as well.
We heard Sales people weren't impacted?
