So how many of you will still shop at Wal-Mart or Sams. On your way out on your last day will you keep your Sam's card that you can get free every year after 20 years of service or will you give it back to them. Im guessing most of you will still support the company that let you go after so many years. All that bullsh-- the company use to feed you about not unionizing that you didnt need anyone talking for you that you could talk for yourself well we see where that has led too.

I will not shop Sams or Walmart and they can keep the card after being there for almost 22 years and getting treated like c-ap no thank you
I don’t know why people get mad if they close Sam’s club or Walmart!! They are the owners and they will do whatever works for them, today they have a job for us we have to thank God if tomorrow they don’t have a job for us we have to thank them for all the years that we had a job and we say thank you and good luck.
Everyone still employed and reading this should downgrade their membership.
I am a 30+ year associate. I am taking my severance, PTO payout, free lifetime membership and anything else I can squeeze out. I'm not disgruntle. I truly believe this is a blessing in disguise.
The only Companies that do this are the ones in trouble . It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out. We should be building up not taking away . They are putting band aids on to stop the bleeding but it too late ... Amazon has infected the wounds and will conquer Sam’s Club It’s just a matter of when
Aldi or Lidl is the way to go.. less expensive - private label merchandise just like Sams offers now. About half the cost. Anything for the home order it from Amazon.
I have stopped shopping at Walmart and would like to switch to Costco but I keep going to Sam's and "taking advantage" of scan and go if you know what I mean
Me personally IDGAF anymore. I hope my area gets eliminated and they offer a severance pay. Until then I will continue to be the scumbag worker that doesn’t care and wait until my ship sinks. Hate to be this way but they forced me to.
Since January 2018, and my store closed, I have only gone back 3 times to visit former co-workers . I do not support the company that closed 63 stores and has found a way to eliminate older , long term associates. They will be fine without us, and we are better for moving on to companies. Imagine, 63 stores x number of associates that were displaced. Multiply that by 52 weeks. How many of you bought groceries and such? They also lost that, plus the bad PR. Good Luck Sams Club. I hope you see the iceberg before you crash into it.
@loe you sure about that?? It's pretty obvious the company is in trouble.
Since my store closed, I have not stepped foot back in. I have occasionally gone to a Walmart but I can probably count that on 1 hand. I go to Target, my local grocery store, Amazon and Costco.
Here's a recent experience I had with Sam's though. I replaced my car battery in July of 2017. Two weeks ago, it left me stranded. That thing barely lasted over 1 yr. Before that I don't think I made it 2 yrs. It's worth more money to get a new battery from my local Auto Zone instead. Not only does their company s---, but so do their products.
Boo hoo, grow up and figure out that every company in the world does this
I'm sure the company will still survive without ur money. People like you wont be missed.
I love Amazon Prime!
NOT me hey i shop at other stores that know my name...
They wont get another penny from me!
Costco, Target as well as Amazon will get my money now!
