We all want to work hard but we also want to be compensated fairly for the work we are doing. How can you be happy about your measly 1-2% pay raise when inflation is running 3-4%? You are losing ground if you are happy with that. did Sloan or the senior managers get a 1-2% pay raise? If you are new to the company, realize pay raises use to be in the 6%-10% and our benefits were much better. The company paid more of the health at costs, contributed more to the cash balance plan, a stock purchase plan where you could buy stock at a 15% discount to current market price” and much more. If you don’t take a stand now, how much does the company need to cut benefits or cut your pay before you say enough is enough? Think long and hard before deciding to not participate in the walk out because mgt has you fooled!

Did you honestly expect anything else? Google employees are some of the best and brightest in tech. Wells Fargo employees are sheep that have been conditioned to do as I say, not as I do. But at least Wells Fargo employees have great attitudes and look happy as their senior leaders screw them over lol!!
No Wells Fargo walkout today? Disheartening.
Google had a massive employee walkout today in SF Bay Area (due to mishandling of s-xual misconduct complaints). And it made news in all media outlets, incl. major TV networks.
Clearly, Google employees are braver than Wells Fargo employees.
Major missed opportunity.
I'm all for the walkout! Sending a message is important and it will get press coverage.
If anyone thinks anything good will come from these walk outs you will be sadly mistaken... Inget it, we are all frustrated, but Wells does not care about you or me or anyone.
