Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

There ismuch more to lose than to gain with the walkout

None of the Wells Fargo employees will actually participate in the planned "silly" Walk Out instigated by someone. Because they really do want to still be Wells Fargo employees and not lose their jobs.

There is always someone else out there in the World ready to take your nice job if you do not appreciate it. Many employees work with no benefits at all. An hourly wage, no health benefits,no paid vacation, no paid holiday time off, no 401K, no nothing. Just working hourly with no benefits at all so don't complain too much or you may get that type of job next.

The OP said it right. A walkout won't solve anything, but rather make it easy for the management to put a list together of who will be cut next.

Did you honestly expect anything else? Google employees are some of the best and brightest in tech. Wells Fargo employees are sheep that have been conditioned to do as I say, not as I do. But at least Wells Fargo employees have great attitudes and look happy as their senior leaders screw them over lol.

Google had a massive employee walkout today, 11/1 (due to mishandling of s-xual misconduct complaints). And it made news in all media outlets, incl. major TV networks.

Google employees are braver than Wells Fargo employees.

Major missed opportunity.

I agree. A walkout will no absolutely nothing but make you lose all you have worked for and a bad mark on your employment history. On teamworks for a very long time people have voiced their displeasure time and time again. I know leaders look at those comments. Yet nothing has phased them at all. We are getting the shaft on wage increases, benefits and more for also a long time. No, I think that the only eye opener would be for the feds to do their jobs correctly and those that need to be ousted need to go. Sloan doesn’t give a rats patootie about our grievances. He only cares about shareholder and investors. Perhaps the thing to do is to write letters to Vanguard and other big investors and shareholders about how you want growth and a great company for them to be invested in but,,, keeping of course the correspondence professional. I think if they received many letters from the front line which ultimately effects their bottom line too, that may do something. The survey, most will paint the picture as roses and beauty and that is the information they get. They perhaps are the ones who needs the truth. It couldn’t hurt and you might get the attention that is needed

The difference is when your "Pushed Out" Wells will give you a severance package. When you "Walk Out" you lose everything

You are already being pushed out -- WAKE UP!!!

The walkout would send a message.

Will I do a walk out no because what will that do? Do I like working for the company ummm no but I have a family and it’s called sacrifice. I didn’t do anything wrong so why should I have to look for employment elsewhere? They can push me out...I’ll wait
