Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Anyone having SAFe training rammed down your throat?

Big push in TD/TO for this training. "value stream" is the new buzzword.

The part of AT&T that is unwilling to Google things they don't know are what is killing the company. SAFe = Scaled Agile Framework. It's a new way to deliver software in very large companies. It also renames a lot of our processes and uses the term value streams instead of projects.

It is nice how you young dopes talk amongst yourselves expecting the whole world to feel your pain ! The rest of ATT has no idea of what you guys refer to,let alone mean.Do us all a favor and spell out your lame a-- acronyms ! Communication is key !!!

SAFe the new miracle fix. Looks like another trip down once we do this its going to be great road.

The problem is SAFe is a methodology, its how its implemented. With the current leadership, it does not matter what program they push, its all cover for " improving" and hiding numbers. Another boondoggle, where it may work in an area, but its not for everything. ATO is lost. New program in a year.

T knows better and can fix some of these programs shortcomings
