Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

HO is going to get what they deserve when receiving and claims associates, who have the knowledge leave and they TRY to train people who know nothing about the areas.

It couldn't be happening to a more deserving group. HO needs to be replaced or all clubs will be closing. Where did these people come from? They are to busy acting like they know what they are doing. Better eliminate a few more positions, it takes quite a bit to keep that plane going.

Not only does it go in trash, but at my club they also put it right out the back doors in receiving for anyone to take. Bulky items that can block the trash compactor. Oh, and by the way its people they know. HaHa!!

I would not be surprised if they started to make US pay them to work for them. I wouldn’t be surprised if they took shut off the lights overnight to save money and made us wear lights on our foreheads to see what we were doing.

I would not be surprised if they did away with sams share , i wouldnt be surprised if they changed PTO so you cant get more than two weeks of vacation

They don’t care about shrink. Why do you think high schrink has been raised to .6. Any manager with that score would,d have been fired. No experience left in the clubs, who is going to train anyone. Sam Walton is turning over in his grave when he see what Gisela has done to the company. It’s a shame,no one is memberservice or associate care. It’s not about keeping up with technology, it’s about making sure she gets her big BONUSES...

Boy, were we wrong. Didn't people keep saying that claims was the only secure position? What happened? This company gets greedy by the minute. Does anyone think they will be bringing in a third party? I think the previous post is right, everything will just go in trash. Why waste time processing merchandise, especially when they want everything done fast. I can see a lot of shrink if we put new people in these areas that have no knowledge at all in claims and receiving. What a shame!!!

I crossed trained in claims to cover for the vacationing FT claims associate and have to say it was a terrible experience! What I learned was "when in doubt, throw it out".
