If Vz sold the wireline business they would end up leasing back the network they just sold. Basically a similar arrangement as what they are doing with the IT work that went to Infosys. They did it a few years ago with the employee VPN authentication service as well. It's all accounting fun to play the wall st game.

Problem with that falsehood @rsw is that none of those entities have a landline footprint in many, many of the states where we currently offer wireless. In fact, we provide landline fibers for them in many states.

Learn what you need to before chiming ignorantly in.

Wireless can be carried over lines by Zayo, AT&T, Frontier, CenturyLink, Windstream, GTT, Cogent, and the list goes on....
