Age Discrimination

My concern is that just because im under the age of 39 i only have 15 days to decide and not 45 days. What does age have to do with it. We should all get either the 15 or 45.I lose out on that extra check and my Sam's share.

Those who are given 45 days will not receive the Samshare either! Paying an attorney as someone responded to this post, will not help so don’t waste your time and money. The packet that I received after my last day was easy to understand

Have an attorney take a look at the paperwork that you received.

Its required to give a certain number of days for anyone 40 or older due to the age discrimination act. 40 or older are protected under those laws. All have a certain number of days after signing a separation agreement to rescind it, so they are covering that required time frame.

What do you mean? I'm under 39 and wasn't told this.
