To the piss ant mad watching LONG term associates leave at 1:30. We worked what you are working. Been there done that. We earned what we have now.

If you dont like it, and are that miserable of a person why dont you quit. Who is whining? That would be YOU!

Marketing at our club does whatever is necessary to get Memberships! We go from business to business in the pouring rain. We go to Membership Drives at 5 am that don’t end till 7 pm. We work every Event that the Club has. We hear no way more than we hear yes from potential members! We have goals we have to reach. Almost every large company is stopping vendors from coming in because of all the terrible things happening in the world! We are up against offers that home office is putting on social media and direct mail that is way better than the offer we have! We work hard and until you have walked in our shoes don’t judge! Many of us started at the bottom and worked our way up and have many years with the company! I have work 5 different positions in 12 years including Cashier, Membership Desk, Cafe and Cafe Lead and have been Membership Lead for 8 years.

Yeah, having to go to bed at 8pm every night to be in at work for 5am is a real treat. Wife asks you if you are watching Survivor tonight with her, you can’t becauce it’s past your bedtime. Don’t worry, maybe you won’t have a spoiler alert the next day in the break room when they talk about who got voted off.

Marketing is not always an easy job. I realize it has changed a lot over the years. But when you go into work and are focused on doing your job but then told that you have other things to cover. At the same time you are still expected to hit your numbers it is very frustrating. So until you go out in the field have doors slammed In your face and excuse after excuse as to why a person does not want to sign up. Not to forget not having devices that dont work half the time and you try to make them work. If that really interests you then go for it and then you can have the Mon-Fri. Shift. I have been at MTL for over 10yrs. I work Holidays and weekends at least Saturday or Sunday. I have been at drives until 11pm and as early as 3am. I for one do see an end to the position and will take the severance. But until then I will go out in the field, work the frontend or help move pallets in seasonal, or help with signs if that's what's needed.

Receiving and claims entitled to the end what about my Monday-Friday no weekends. All I have to say is welcome to the real world. I for one find it appalling that the rest of us piss ants have been working this optimize sh-- hours, watching the rest of you walk out every f---ing day, to be able to eat dinner with family and enjoy family weekends and holiday together. Please stop your whining and be glad it lasted as long as it did.

Well I hope they do something soon! This sold in field is a mess. They change the benefit for a membership and renewals monthly. Then they change it some more. It just needs to go away.

I totally agree marketing is a joke. I for one can not wait for that department to be abolished once and for all. Heard it's right around the corner as soon as they situate backroom.

If any position needs to go bye bye its marketing membership lead, MSS lead and comp shopper... but yea lets combine receiving and claims give them a pay cut if they stay and pile on more work! They dont bring n the numbers like they used too... MSS lead a supervisor over supervisors yea thats micromanagement at its finest!
