Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Hiring and laying off?

They’re hiring for SNP and IMBH. They’re looking to do more in home, more behavior health and deal with more chronic members, hccp has been through a huge RIF, and they’re not replacing those left though case loads are very high. Is this the obvious writing on the wall that people were referring to in prior posts this year that hccp is folding? Anyone hear anything or know if anything if hccp will be around next year? I know it’s open enrollment, and at one town hall they projected the numbers in hccp to be a certain amount by this time. Are they?

What is the shut up email? There was an article on the hi page today about the new model for home care with kindred, that may give you all some insight? Hopefully, you can transition to new roles, if that’s what’s going to happen. This telemedicine push isn’t going to work with our members in remote areas or the older population who have problems with using a cell phone

And another before the end of the year. Happy holidays. These imaginary standards are just that. You are being watched closely and proving the value of the program is a bunch of horse hockey. Do the best you can and care for your members the best you can as you have always done and do the best you can in your own heart because your quality and quantity and metrics will make no difference. We are simply Human Resources. That's it. I can't believe that I am hearing people that I have grown to love and respect, my colleagues mislead when we know the leaders will be the next to go? Why would they do this to others and not to management and by the way, who will you manage? So what are you buying yourself a few more months of salary in exchange for causing undeserved pressure on employees and their families in hopes they will cave under the pressure? Shame shame shame on Humana. Lying and misleading to preserve your own job when you are just as disposable. Good job. Selling out your fellow humans. I am ashamed. I am not playing this game. Yes. I did get the "shut up" email. So use your computer skills and deduce who this is on this anonymous site. It shouldn't be too hard. What will you do? Fire me? The cat is already out of the bag and I am just quietly observing the lies. I am taking my own notes. Sorry. I cannot comply. I have a big mouth. I have lost all respect. Do you not wonder how things moved about so quickly? Amazing, isn't it? It is not my values and integrity and whatever else you are saying that are being measured. I am witnessing it with my own eyes. At the end of the day, your false criticism of good and honest people will fall a hundredfold into your own laps. Be sure of that. What would you do for a dollar?
