Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Nothing but too much stress at Infosys

There is no way Infosys can maintain SLA's. Already having very skeleton staff onshore and with more jobs being outsourced, the people who are onshore spend more time on conference calls/ chats (explaining every minute why progress was not made from all different layers of management who does not have any work other than wasting employee time) and assigning them on multiple projects not having any time to work on any of the projects will cause the trouble with managing SLA's. It will be a big failure. Moreover, with cheap mentality and cheap labor from Infosys, there will be lot of movement from onshore staff with all the stress that was put on the employees making them to leave. People stayed at Verizon for the compensation that was given even though stress was there. At Infosys, they don't have anything other than too much stress to cause health issues.

This is a post I found on another thread on this board. Think that the OP ( @VKFVmYf-gop ) has a point. Good post.

VDSI is just as terrible. They are a productivity killer and are awful to work with.

I’d rather have 2 onshore resources than 10 VDSI ones. In my opinion, using them as a way to cut costs has been a disaster. I’m surprised those being laid off because of VDSI haven’t petitioned POTUS about VZ outsourcing American jobs.
