Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Pay attention

Has anyone taken the new anonymous survey they want us to take yet. I did it. Let's just say I was brutally honest.

It asked what we think about our benefits (took it before the new packages came out which blow) and what we think about upper management. Do you feel supported in your role. Do you have the tools needed. And the best one about our bonus.

Service side has the worst pay out. Ours depends only on customer experience and that includes the banker scores as well ours. The bankers have the opportunity to do loan volume again.

Anyone in management in the retail portion needs to be replaced. The atmosphere in the districts is dismal and impossible to promote if you aren't buddy buddy with management. They literally will promote simply on who knows who instead of performance

Please be honest and up front in the survey. Its beyond important to show how unhappy we are and how concerned we are in regards to our jobs.

I am a lead aiming for a service manager position but changed my mind when they began pushing us to push mobile banking and ATMs. It seems to me like the teller side will be obsolete. Ultimately it will be a service manager and a lead (if they even decide to keep those positions but it would make sense for the limits). Basically a teller for business deposits and a service manager for assisted ATMs.

We will be getting our new ATMs next year.

They will be redoing all of the security cameras as well. We think this is so they can show you leaving your screen unlocked and turning away for a second etc.

If you are wanting job security or the experience needed to find another job after they close a branch etc go for a banker.

They will always need a banker to verify identity and process loans and so on. Jump on it now before it's too late. I'm in NOR CAL and positions are finally opening up after months of the market being stagnant.

Hang in there even if it's just for another history needed for a good paying job.

Branches will be next. First in stores and then lower performing branches.

Surveys can’t be anonymous if investigators and follow key strokes and mouse clicks. Of course this is time consuming so most surveys are anonymous. If your a big target that they want to know more about they will get that info

Just so everyone knows the survey is 100 percent anonymous and part of the thing with the feds. It's a 3rd party survey and as long as you dont type in the complaint box a name its 100 percent anonymous

I took it and I don’t care if it’s shared! If I’m fired for being honest, I wasn’t meant to be here in the first place.

You never be fully honest it's not anonymous and will be shared by HR with your managers to fire you to cover up their misconduct. Look at amwhat happened to all the whistle blowers.

They can and they will get rid of you for being honest, especially if you criticize your manager. Those surveys are how they identity the negative influences. They couldn’t care less how it is for you.

Management needs to take responsibility for their actions or their inaction. Someone should take a look at how the MDs pay themselves and then question why Directors and VPs in front office roles have resigned this year, especially in the 2H. Performers should not be resigning - management should be investing in their career development.

I think if people don’t take the survey, it will lead to senior leaders thinking all is wonderful and cozy. I too am blatantly honest in the surveys too. Can’t fire me for honesty and honesty is part of having integrity. Please do take the survey, it’s essential that management knows how team members really feel. In my opinion, most are not happy nor secure in their jobs along with fed up with the current status quo. Back in the day, managers were the ones that knew the job and processes inside out and would pitch in when it’s needed. That is certainly not how it is now. Unfortunately due to a medical issue I am not able to take the survey as I have no access to it to take it and wish I did. Speak up team members please.

I will not take that survey nor participate in any of their scams. Surveys at Wells Fargo are NOT anonymous or confidential - no matter how much they insist that THIS time they are. And even if they were I feel that silence says it all.
