Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

No honesty here

Why doesn't att realize that all a customer really wants is honesty? Could it be that if they were, the customer would recognize that there is far better out there, running over far quicker infrastructure and therefore immediately leave. At least by not being so forthcoming, att can buy time and get a few of the customer bucks before they get angry at getting scammed. And, by then the customer is locked into the contract and will most certainly pay one way or another. Damnit man! Glad I'm no longer a customer nor will ever be again. Thanks for listening.

If that’s how you treat customers, isn’t a surprise how they treat employees.

On top of that, only with the 50% employee discount does the price become competitive. You can imagine how the full-freight customers feel ...

"OP, this site is for AT&T ~employees~ . Not customers" - hey genius, you do realize that a good number of employees are customers, too? and with family plans, also their relatives?

I always tell the truth. My manager hates me. He just wants numbers. I sleep at night. This is one f---ed up company.
