Founders may be the inspiration behind a great entrepreneurial idea, AT&T is the exception, this CEO has fail at execution many times, unable to adapt, this company for decades now continues experiencing low financial performance, IT IS TIME he goes into the twilight.

somebody needs to move randy's cheese before he cuts some more of his own
The board needs to vote Randall and his cronies out. Its time for real leadership.
Randy cares about Randy. He is destroying our company
They need to make Who Moved My Cheese a compliance training. People aren't going to pay for POTS, just like no one pays for text messages. Your jobs are going away because buying habits changed. Change with it, or become the next Sears.
It does make you wonder what their fascination is with him. He hasn’t done jack since he took over. He’s probably the fall guy whose main job is to terminate anyone with an accruing pension as fast as possible
Oh, and AT&T's stock is the lowest of all 50 CEO's on the list...What are the Board Members smoking...
I just read that Randall Stevenson is #12 on the list of the 50 top paid CEO's......How can this be? CEO compensation needs to be tied to the company's share price performance...…..
I wonder if the board is providing that level of detail? I always thought they just look at the bottom line and how Randy gets there is up to him and his accomplices.
Unfortunately with such poor leadership and management the only way to maintain profits is cutting costs, innovation and creativity are meaningless words to Randy.
He is doing everything the board wants - hiring cheap labor, cutting perm jobs, cutting pension liability, off shoring jobs, cutting benefits, automating jobs, etc. it's the new model for business in America. Hope you all saved your money cause you're going to need it.
I think you have bipolar confused with ADHD.
People with bipolar disorder jump easily from one task to the next, leaving many incomplete ones in their wake while searching for the next interesting shiny new thing. I think Randy and his 15 unfinished projects. Realistically, no matter how good my intentions, most of them will never see the light of day again.
We need new leadership. Someone who doesn’t care about being a member of Hollywood. Someone who isn’t obsessed with a highly competitive content business.
Smart Companies Sc-ap Its Vision and Start Over. when the original idea hold them back or don't describe their culture anymore, well, there's only one sensible thing to do.
