I heard some markets are about to try home delivery of phones. Anyone?

The company is downsizing.. verizon is trying to drive customers to self service. This is just another way to unload corporate stores and more employees.
That’s going to be a problem. One more way not to pay reps and then the customer will bring it all in the store for the reps to fix. I understand verizon’s Point of view in doing this. This is what the customers want, but it is only going to hurt the employees. But then again Verizon has been trending this way the last two years with in store pickups and online deals that you cant get in the store.
The new quota was bad enough. This is going to make it harder. Time to seriously look for another job.
The program is being trialed in 3 markets. If a customer orders online... they can choose to pay 8.99 to have the phone delivered to their home same day. A vendor is handling the deliveries.
