I know somebody said more layoffs are coming, but do we know anything about stores? Are we looking at more closings this month?

VZW does not want to be in the retail business now that the wireless business is saturated.

Always. Verizon will more than likely have a corporate retail footprint similar to Apple Stores. You will have one corporate store in a market but then have retailers everywhere else to sell. This process will take some time but they will transition most stores to Authorized retailers or close them. Do not think just because you kill quota, sell tons of HUM or your store is busy that will save you. It may for now but not for long. The way Verizon compensates the authorized retailer it will always been cheaper for them to run the stores rather than corporate.
