I would be relieved. Long timer, seen plenty of changes from legacy days to Verizon. Accepted a long time ago that the company and culture that pretty much I was raised in, ie Teamwork, Respect and Honest straight talk, is gone, never to return. We are Sprint with a turnstyle for lay offs and reorg's.
It's been a great run. Appreciate all the benefits I have enjoyed most of my time in.

32 years ,pension frozen at 2006 ,let the rif come ,i will leave with a serverance package,and say VZ use to be a great place to work.now nobody cares so it is what it is.Upper management treat us lower managers like children,all the micro managing ,you might as well hire clerks to do our job...bring the RIF

In with the new hires who dont know the job,and out with the older managers who do,probably to save$$,like vz has been doing kin the last 10 years,or hans plan to cut the work force like he did at ericcson
