Vague. Stated sw would be moved to support roles i.e. AD, Monitored CM, and ICT support. No time line. No assurance that all would still have a job but also no reference to layoffs.

I would describe as vague reference

Were the SNP social workers ensured there will be support roles or was this a vague reference?

We’ve been understaffed for a very long time. Immediately following the RIFs we had attrition. I think it’s know across most of the nurse teams, I’m not sure why it wasn’t communicated to our SW teams. The people hired were to get our staffing to the appropriate level including the current SWs as CMs

HCCP person- again, you can't compare the 2 programs including # of SW's in each program. Yours is much bigger than ours with many more members.

Right now we arent closing gaps. We are doing the same job as nurses. But when they hire the nurses then the sw will become support roles to close those gaps

Only 25 SW? That’s crazy. HCCP has 85. How do they expect to close the psychosocial gaps with that few to meet members needs?

SNP was told SW would be going to other roles outside of CM; Support roles. That only RNs are being hired. Nothing was mentioned it was because we were understaffed.. if that is the case then I misunderstand what they were trying to convey in the meeting. What did everyone else understand?

25 were hired because we are way understaffed not because we want to replace the SW we have in CM roles.

Snp sw here. We werent told why. We were just told that 25 new RNs are being hired. We have 25 SWs left and we will not be cms anymore, we will be support roles and going to AD. So it appears they will "take our spots, if you will. If I had to guess why; it would be because we are working over our scope of practice as it stands currently. We are doing a lot of nurse stuff in addition to social work. But i dont think any layoffs because we have 45k people to be enrolled this coming year so they will need us for the support roles.

We've been care managers for over a year so you really can't compare the two. We may have the opportunity to go back to what we used to do which is what you're doing now. At least some of us anyway.

HCCP Social Worker here. I know SNP and HCCP are very different programs, but can someone clarify what is happening with the SWers in SNP? Are you saying they have been told they will need to move to other roles because they are not needed or just that their responsibilities will be less with possible RIF in the future? We have gone from 250 to about 65 so Im thinking we may see similar movement here and trying to plan ahead.

That’s what I meant, you need you’re social workers, it’s not good if they’re going to other roles

HCCP person, why not good? Our program is very different from yours and SS are needed. We're also not over staffed.

I think around 20 SW left. Nothing mentioned about hccp support roles... but that doesnt mean it isnt an option.

In in hccp, are you saying the snp sw were given the option to take support roles? That's not good. How many are there ? Can they go to hccp?

Ok option to resume. And so that leaves options for them to layoff or no other choice but to quit or take other roles. Im ASKING if this means layoff.

They stated they would have the option to RESUME a support role. Stop trying to incite panic chicken little.

How are the SW not needed?

With SW not being needed for roster CM (with the exception of monitored members and AD) do we anticipate a layoff of any sort?

What surveys were "miscommunicted" that resulted in not meeting metrics?
