Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

The Tipping Point

In every situation there comes a point . A point of pause or inflection that signals a point of no return where circumstances or situations become irreversible . We are There in

Sam’s Club . I have had enough of the fear and intimidation by MM , the MTeam and the

visits by HO Personnel. I have interviewed and accepted an offer , I will give notice in a few weeks. When I do I will be escorted out and treated like dirt. That’s fine I have come to accept that from Supervision. I’m done sad to say but I do not recognize the Company

of two years ago even , though it was heading downhill then. Do yourselves a favor get out while you can. Don’t burn any more days of your life with this miserable outfit. Yes I am a long term Club Manager just wish I had the courage sooner! Life is better outside

the Club! For yourself , your dignity , your self respect your families. Get out now! You will rue the day you stayed!

God Bless All

I’m one of the managers that was laid off, I gave this company 15 years of my life worked my a-- off for this company.. I enjoyed the associates loved developing them and working hand and hand with them.. Don’t understand how and why I was chosen to be laid off out of the 6 of us. I see many associates around town and they ask me why you, it makes no sense all the other were always outside taking smoke breaks and never helping us out! You were the one always engaged and never out taking breaks, teaching and training. I yet to try and answer this because I can’t. Disappointed in this company for what they’ve done to All those manager and myself... The way you dismissed us was Horrible.. you gave me 2 1/2 minutes and walked me out and said you could not answer any questions, that here’s the number if you have any other questions that may not be on a sheet of paper... you s--- and your getting everything you all deserve!!!!!!!

Unionize what they going to do let us go, it’s time we stand up for ourselves. Never thought I would say the U word but couldn’t be any worse. Hell who knows we’ve been brainwashed by Walmart/Sams for so long about UNION. If you think about it with the unpredictable hours, raises, holiday’s, respect for the individual, dignity hell I could go on and on, point is Walmart has already unionized its CEO’s they just forgot to tell us, let’s stand up for the individuals again.

I agree with all. Who ever is at HO making up all these new rules and communicating on the wire has to be letting their children make this stuff up. Its shameful and so childish. I am embarrassed by our Company it's gone to the Dogs.

I’m a Club Manager as well in Market 15 NE.

This MM is the best excuse for a Union I’ve seen yet. I would vote Yes. Tomorrow! Management needs a Union in this Company and yes they made a terrible mistake letting many of those Managers go.

It was s---c-de. Tells you where we are headed: to ruin it’s quite plain to see!

Place is on Fire!!

I believe that the company realizes it made a great mistake with letting go of all the talent and long term managers. Sam's Club is on a downward spiral folks we are fighting to stay alive. The corporate office can't fix the damage that was done. They have new management that are clueless and have no ideal how to run a club are motivate it's people. I agree now is the time form a union while they trying to figure out the mess they have created. I do believe in karma and it's here congratulations CEO's of our f---ed up company.

Im a longterm manager as well and cant wait to leave this company. I dont think hourlies really understand the pressure put upon us and what we must do and even then its not enough for HO. Im really surprised that no one tries to unionize because of the things they do. Hell im a manager an$ id vote yes to Unionize
