Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Soooo...where are the layoffs?

Seems awfully quiet for a layoff day. Another false alarm?

Those effected received 2 emails 1 from Brian shay That was sent ro all sales and distribution. Then another came from An HR team giving the SSRs details about what to expect, the process, and it talked about comission relief for 3 Months. It also mentioned self paced training. You will get an email August 17th and will have 3 days to click accept or deny the rsc position. No reply is an official denial of the position. Then On September 9th you will be transitioned into the rsc roll. At least for the purple contract

No market call for North Texas- just an email. I guess they aren’t interested in questions right now.

You're not reading all the posts then.

I very clearly stated in the other active thread that you would become an RSC full time / part time equivalent to what you are now as an SSR.

So if you're a full time SSR, you will have the option to transition into a full time RSC.

You will also retain your tenure. So if you have more years of employment than the highest seniority RSC, you will become the highest seniority RSC

We specifically asked our DOS on our call if this was nationwide and she confirmed it was.

North Texas - no call, no email, manager sitting right here- about to leave, no mention of a call.

Are you guys sure this is National today?

Info for training was in the call as well as in the documentation your manager should have provided you.

If you accept the offer to be a rep, you will receive an invite on september 17th for the 10 day "at your own pace" virtual training that all new hire reps take

No it’s coming. October 1st will be the day everything is done by and the SSR role is eliminated. You will have a few weeks to decide to transition into an RSC role. No info on RSC training if it will be virtual or at a learning center. With the amount of people possibly training for an RSC I would hope they Do training centers

Had our call. End date of either Sept 30th for early out or Oct 30th as the last possible day. You have to pick by Aug 20th to be RSC. In your own location. This is nationwide. I am an SSR in Maryland
