What’s the best way to step down from a lead position and tell them you have a new job...

Give notice like you normally would and I would presume you do not plan on coming back to the company for there crappy pay as a starting employee so who cares if they get p-ss-d. You owe them nothing. Why wait for them to do away with your position and they tell you sorry your job is going away you are beating them to the punch. The PTC guy on the front wire talking about the new and faster orientation and how great it is I guess he don't realize his job is about to be gone. We will see how much he is smiling when they call him into the office to inform him his job is being pushed to a part time position or going away completely.
It's no different what postion you are. Tell them what your last day is and be done with it.
go to your HR put in your 2 weeks and walk out of the office like a boss you dont owe them any type of exclamation
All you have to do is reel your manager you are stepping down.... are you leaving permanently or still working there? Be careful if you step down chances are they will probably make you do the same work but for 10% less pay
Omg. Write out a letter of resignation ,giving two weeks notice. State in the letter when your last day will be. I am assuming your
new position is outside the company.
Like a bandaid. Grip it and rip it
