Rumor is that EUS are looking to unionize. I've been hearing the word a lot coming out of senior EUS techs. How can the union help EUS?

These union guys act like they're working in the mines of Chile. They're overpaid for what they do and support. They know d@mn well no one else will hire them because they're extinct dinosaurs supporting dead technology. So, naturally-- they give part of their paycheck to Tommy Gufano, the top genius, have him strong arm the company the threaten a strike, while their co-workers (who actually have a degree and expertise in something related to the 21st century) does their job for them-- proving anyone can do it. There was a f'n 60 year customer service rep working up on a telephone pole during the strike. Any old lady can do your jobs. HAHA. Losers.
My chief is Irish. The guineas are outnumbered here.

Senior EUS......They have all been RIF’D. Only low level techs left. The real rumor is outsourcing not union.
End user support is doomed to be outsourced to the H1B's. Union won't make any difference.
Why is it people want the union after the writing is on the wall? Its too late It's like buying a gas guzzler when gas prices are low thinking they will never go back up. People are so dumb and short sighted.
You have to unionize when things are good, not when the company's revenues are going down. This is too funny (not meant to be against EUS)

if this is a serious question, then I agree with wcn, whenever I would suggest this to EUS techs they would dismiss it because times were relatively good compared to whatever they are now which I assume is awful.
maybe its not too late, maybe it is, but I can only SMH at this. In my view its at least 10 years too late now that the role is most likely on its way out anyway. pretty soon there wont be much left to support.
It's Interesting that everyone wants to Unionize today after years of not just rejecting the Union but dismissing them in degrading and slanderous ways.
I don't mean to say "We told you so" but I do believe your opportunity has diminished greatly in the 20 years since the Union first encouraged you to have employee rights in this company.
You basically gave the Union and the Union employees the middle finger and had been doing the same up until just recently when your jobs became in jeopardy.....none of which would be happening if you were in the Union.
We're not angry....just disappointed for your families who you selfishly didn't consider.....they didn't have a say in their future....they left that up to you.
