What's in store for 2020? Hopefully the company will correct all the mistakes made in 2019. They wana be like Costco, but Costco has Associates working in abundance...not spread thin like butter and they actually have better pay....why haven't you taken that from their Business plan. Oh wait it cuts into All of Managements Bonuses!!!!

Wondering if store 6240 (Glendora) will be shutting down soon. The shelves are always empty. The members continually complaing and frustrated. Since the new Manager took over so many associates have quit.New hires dont last a month, even over 50% of his Management team has left. The other half that have stayed, I am sure because they cant afford to leave, yet anyways. Does headquarters purposely turn a blind eye to this situation. This club was a very busy productive club and now is being run into the ground and a ghost town.

Walmart/samsclub maybe openly discriminating against the two female people greeters, NOW call. MEMBERS SUPPORT. Feb 2019 Samsclub/walmart 6616 in Fullerton California, inform the female People Greeters that they could no longer work at the exit door because they have work accommodations to sit periodically. Walmart move them to work only at the entrance door. These people greeters were always working both doors for years, even with their injury and work accommodations. Both of these female workers were hurt while working at samsclub pushing and pulling shopping carts. They file for workers compensation. They both know that the company is discriminating and is retaliating against them because of their disability, their age and because they took a stand for workers rights.

Get out while you can. Good grief, Sam’s club wants a bunch of children running their stores....let them. Best decision, move on. Put your skills towards something you can appreciate. Do you honestly and truly live to constantly defend Sam’s club? Do you honestly love working sh-- hours for sh-- pay....getting treated like sh-- by the members and the management staff? Really? When you were little you said you wanted to grow up and sell sh-- at a warehouse? .....yeah.....check please...I am out. Save yourself. Worst company ever. Really scary and disappointing. Actually, just gross.

Heard that 6335 will be elimating tabacco in a way that we will no longer be taking faxes for business members and that we can not do any walk inside or call ins til after all Faxes are done. IT JUST DONT MAKE NO SINCE TO ME !! There will be alot of p-ss-d off members that get tabacco and won't wait for the orders. They will eventually take their business elsewhere !! Just saying cause I hear it all the time from members now !!!

I’ve been through 2 Club closures. You will not read anywhere what clubs are closing. They post a sign by the time clock of a Mandatory meeting. They tell you in that meeting. In my experiences, the clubs remained open for a few weeks. Basically anyone who was a good honest worker did get placed in other Sams or Walmarts. I am still with Sams Club

No one should second guess Corporate. I am an hourly employee. Our roads are so full of tourists and locals and snow birds. Hurricane Season is right around the corner. They will find out then what is needed to accomplish their long term goals is my guess. They know more than anyone how things are going and what is best for the consumer and small businesses and Corporate. It is a balancing act in my area as I am sure it is in yours.

My store just announced at new point system which is against the associate, new hours 4am-12pm and 3pm-11pm. They eliminated third shift and there is talk of photo and t-b-coo getting chopped as well, possibly jewelry. If you ask me we will be closed before the year is over how empty product is in the store.

I hate that so many rumors are going around at my club 8250. Corporate wants to reduce the amount of employees. Cashiers to about 19 employees and that is CRAZY. They want all clubs to run the same way. That cannot happen. The two clubs in McAllen ,Tx do not and cannot run the same way.

Taking t-b-cco out of the clubs. Do they really think that's a smart move. The stores that buy t-b-cco come in and buy other things for their stores. They don't have time to go to several places so they would rather get it from one place. Not sure if that's a smart move. I don't know who's coming up with these idea, but they need to revisit them.

We know something is about to happen. There are way to many changes going on. I don't get why they have to make layoffs so dang surprising. We are tired of the bull already just bring it on.

If there are any closures it should be announced soon. Like really really soon. So maybe they won't close any.. or maybe they're holding off because they love the surprise factor. Either way, just bring it on please!

The problem with my local Sam's Club is not carrying the name brand product(s) that you relied on and the reason why you had a membership to begin with. There have been numerous common name brand items that are no longer stocked and have been replaced with Member's Mark brands. I'm sorry, but the Member's Mark brands are not all that good. If I wanted generic or off brand, I can buy that at my local grocery store without paying a membership fee.

If everyone paid for their own Sam's Club membership card and couldn't use everyone else's membership card at self check out lanes and at the gas pumps the clubs would run as they should. Profit came from membership cards!

Does anyone happen to have any additional info on this? My mom has been working at a Sam's in Missouri for about 25 years. There's been lots of talk about it closing all year but manager's always assure them that it's just a rumor. They also recently let all the shipping and receiving people go (just like the commenter above). Any info would be much appreciated. I, personally, am hoping they shut down. They would be doing my mom a favor by letting her go so she doesn't have to work in that hell hole any longer.
