Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Are the only jobs available anymore IHX and part time RSC?

You can’t find SSR jobs available and full time RSC positions are scarce because thay want inexperienced part time garbage instead. There are a lot of IHX jobs since everyone quits them since they’re channel is failing so misarably. AT&T is a dead end job unless you want a sh--typart time or IHX job where you dont make no money

LMAO @ calling HR

You can mycsp all you want, in the end its up to the manager's discretion. CSP also says you can use DF to get the item, You should try using it.

IHX is the MOST profitable channel of at&t, at&t has a projected 1.3M net PPV and IHX accounts for 1M of it. #2 anyone refusing to give you at&t products for at&t customers should be directly reported to H.R. as it is a direct COBC per MYCSP.

Look IHX is a fad job. Sure it seems nice and shiny now but the sales aren’t there to keep it around much longer.

If a store doesn’t have inventory or is low in on hand stock, of course IHX isn’t getting inventory. But we give IHX inventory otherwise because we are required to (MyCSP says so in black and white) and it benefits the company to sell to a customer ready to buy and port to AT&T.

Our area has a great relationship with IHX. We all help each other out (they sometimes go out and do customer service work on site for us when we ask when we are in a bind!).

Some of you need to pick your battles and realize IHX reps are not your enemy. Help each other out or at the very least follow company policy and quit being outraged over every little thing — it just makes your life negative and hurts no one but you.

IHX in our area is very successful and many of the reps have gone on to be IHX area managers or business reps. Some of our top retail reps are waiting to move over.

The store is responsible, and the MANAGER, of the STORES inventory. Their customers come first, not IHX who to lazy to utilize their resources like DF or getting their dispatch to obtain stock for devices they know they are going to sell. I get poor leadership would think otherwise, but in a store we value a healthy stock of items and devices, and the last thing we do is put IHX on some sort of pedestal. That's not how it works...If IHX needs a device, they contact the store manager or ssr and see if they can have what they need. IHX should already know if anything is under the #2, the answer will be no and they need to drive to a store that has it. I understand this might be more of a local issue where stores are far and inbetween, but in city area where they are multiple stores, we have had issues with some IHX reps who go to their local store because it's easier, instead of sourcing the phones from a store that has plenty of stock.

IHX is nothing but failed washed up managers and rscs that retail wanted to get rid of. Can’t wait when that house of cards collapses and they are all out on the street.

IHX is most def a success. I’m in it and people are sometimes 2-3-400% to goal. You step in our shoes for one day and I swear you will crumble. Stop worrying about our position and worry about your failing store.

As a part time rep I really need health insurance but there are no full time rsc positions available but there are IHX positions. How is this right? They take jobs from retail and move to a job with no overtime or union protection!

My manager was forced to come in at 7am to let them in to do inventory. He asked them to come later and our ARSM said no and he has to personally because he is salary. Why do they make us do whatever IHX wants?

It's not the stores inventory either, it's AT&T's. The IHX rep should check the stores inventory first before even going to the store AND reaching out to the manager to make sure it is okay. What's not okay is the manager straight up saying no and making the rep leave.

Anyway, this is a site about layoffs and not going back and forth about IHX. I really don't understand why people let this bother them so much.

we've had our DOS instruct the stores that if we are low on a specific item, we can refuse to give it ti IHX. If a customer is in the store they have priority and we don't need some IHX rep just stroll in a take whatever they want.

It's not IHX inventory..

IHX is just a temporary fix. Rampant problems with fraud and chargebacks. Once the sales dry up, they’ll be let go swiftly. Management, non union position, designed to let someone go, at a moment’s notice with no union representation. Many IHX reps in my area are begging to come back to COR.

Y’all are so quick to trash IHX when it’s actually doing GOOD for the company. I honestly feel like that those that hate it so much were refused the position and they are bitter. It’s growing and they are adding channels, when COR is the one failing.

That manager who told the IHX rep to leave could actually get into a lot of trouble and I hope they get what they have coming to them. It’s a sad and pathetic move on their part, makes them look bad.

And yes, I’m in IHX, made the move from COR and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. No more stress. Sorry to those that hate their lives and complain every day.

Ha...your manager is going to get their butt reamed. It’s POLICY in MyCSP for IHX to source inventory from COR if they need to.

If you refuse IHX that is a piece of trash move. That inventory belongs to ATT not you. Those people in IHX have a job to do the same as you. You’re proud of making someone feel like a fool for “your job”. That isn’t cool at all. Too many times people treat others like trash to get back at ATT but all their doing is compounding the issue of what you all complain about is how this company makes you “feel”. No reason to be mean to another employee when all they’re doing is trying to make a living.
