You’d have to move into a B2B sales position to make better money than an SS. If you have any other education or experience, you may be able to move into another corporate office job, but you will take a paycut for most other jobs if your only experience is SS.

Weird. I got different advice.
One, make sure you avoid having any union clients because they have zero assets.
And, two, don't get Verlieson home telephone and internet because if something ever goes down, it will take two months before a Verlieson bucket truck rolls up with a fat slob in it showing hos buttcrack to the world.
@agn, two pieces of advice to help you in your career transition.
One, don’t manage the assets of current employees. It may be too depressing.
And, two, disgarded pizza boxes are an excellent source of cheese.
As long as that plague eliminated you, all is right and just with the world.
Enjoy asset management, while I’ll enjoy still being here until a time of my choosing.
Went from Verlieson to asset management. At least I got free college degree from that union plagued $hithole.
