I was going to leave by end of contract since I got my 30 but now I’m going to stay another 4 years. Pay is too great for me to walk away from. I have close to 2 mill. But now I’m aiming for more. 😃✌🏿

I will stay till I get my EISP!

Why should I leave without one?

I'm secure for the next 5 years!

What a Feeling!

@kme: I agree that there won’t be a mass exodus, many that would have left will now stay on.

As for an EISP, I think there would be less takers now.

I know that there are many people who were planning on taking the next eisp, or leaving without one before the contract was up in August...now with the extension, a lot are going to stay on for a couple more years. Some will still go but I don’t think we’ll have a mass exodus.

@srh

That’s why people post what they’ve heard....rumors. I’d say that only about 10% of the people who post here use the board for what it is intended...to post questions, rumors or facts that may effect someone’s job. The other 90% just troll and insult people...say things that they wouldn’t have the b@lls to do to their face.

@1ra

I’m sure it bothers some, but the majority just get tired of seeing the same old question over and over. Especially when it has been proven time and time again the no one on this board has a clue when one will be offered.

Why does it bother the non union people that we may get an eisp? Jealousy? Envy? They seem to be the kind of people who like to do well for themselves, but hate to see family, friends or co-workers do well.

I know some of my coworkers were planning on leaving in July next year before the contract expired so any EISP offer would have been taken figuring that they only had one year of work left anyway. Now that the contract is, or will be, extended, I think there would not be as many takers.

I would take an offer, but that’s just me.

While having a million or two may sound like a lot the EISP is still nice. It would be enough extra to get me to go, otherwise I will jut continue to pad the account. It would be foolish not to. The extra cash could be used to gift to the kids as well.

@Udl5Fw0-cen - immaturity seems to be a quality of most Union folks....

I think any contract talks may include the ability to offer EISP’s, but since the company has always kept any upcoming offers secret, I doubt they would tell the union ahead of time when they were going to make one.

Who needs an EISP? We are all millionaire millionaires here. Long live the union!

Anything is possible, but I would think that if there was a surplus before, then there still is. It wouldn’t be surprised to still see it offered to certain titles or departments.

Makes some sense with the long extension, but only time will tell.
