Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

He also forgot to mention all that for less pay too.

It’s a crying shame what’s being done to us on the frontline in addition to all the shady tactics, and phony leadership trying to devalue your worth to the company through fear tactics. https://www.zdnet.com/article/this-is-what-really-happens-in-a-verizon-store-according-to-a-store-veteran/

That’s what happens when you have managers and not leaders. The best they can do to help and motivate their team is scare tactics? How is that leadership?

The fear tactics are what get me. I’m threatened on a daily basis and I’m just sick of it. My SMs are just sh--ty people and my GM is two-faced. I went to him about some bullying tactics my SM was employing and he acted empathetic... then brought the SM in and they both tag teamed me and threatened my job. This company is just full of sh--ty people and I’m ready to go somewhere else

But, as many in the comments section say, it also appears that the "retail store" concept isn't needed and will disappear. So worrying about commission structure and micromanaging is missing the point, people need to find something else to do.
