Found your comments on Wells Fargo offshoring interesting. The Committee for Better Banks has been encouraging American banks to be more forthright about their actions - sales practices, jobs, investment etc. We encourage you to send any concrete information on Wells' offshoring, training foreign workers for mortgage servicing, etc. to staff@betterbanks.org. Thanks.

It’s a little smoke and mirrors. The jobs were moved last year and US workers had to train their counterparts on how to do their job. That was last year. Then this year, we’ll we now have too many people given customer demand for mortgages. So guess who gets cut. Not the new workers know singapore. US workers with hire wages. The bank PR peons can say all they want about the job cuts are not from offshoring. But the fact is the PR folks should check the internal presentations that made it very clear Wf wants to offshore jobs to lower employment costs.
