The Internet exposed your long distance business and shut it down. There are very smart people working on platforms and technology that will make your network obsolete and thus your company will be the same. Enjoy your company's prosperity because you will also reap what you sow. One day your company will be dead. You never thought the home phone business would change but it did. I hope they told you what a node is, because one day soon nodes will broadcast our own decentralized wireless network with our own smart devices and you will be OBSOLETE.

Good luck doing that without our fiber and/or cell tower networks. You will have to go through one or both to get your “decentralized wireless network” going.

AT&T is so behind the times. Customers want American customer service reps speaking English, installers who arrive on time and not late because they are understaffed and underpaid, and retail stores without 2 hour waits. The company needs to pay union employees more and not focusing on union busting gimmicks like IHX and directv now!
Internet traffic from both AT&T and other internet service providers is transported on AT&T fiber and wireless infrastructure. Thats how it works. USX7sFH doesn’t know anything about telecommunications. Go back to school and learn a trade.
Reminds me of the two small Russian kids boarding the jet (Movie: 2012) saying “we are going on a big ship, we will live and YOU will die!” Don’t think so Grasshopper, but you can always bet the family fortune on that outcome of AT&T.
