Here is an idea cut his salary to $1 million (still alot more than he deserves!) and give all of us a raise so we are paid a reasonable amount for the work we do and quit laying people off!

@uhf, don’t sweat the little details....they are better known as “joke trolls” and the sole purpose is to annoy you....misspelling words like ‘thier’ Instead of ‘their’ or ‘thay’ instead of they....you get the idea.

Their main purpose is to take you off topic but mostly, to make the conversation about them....it’s how they get their jollies. Not enough sunshine and vitamin D. But they jump from site to site, perhaps Verizon or Exxon and so on.

And, of course, you do have those out there who are truly illiterate. Either way, move on Grasshopper.

And Ty for your debate skills, facts refuting what was posted. 37 years, never management, always outside craft. And don't think for a second what gets posted here can not be seen by the company if they so chose. Keep bashing the company. This is why some of you will never make it to retirement.

He made 28 million last year. Were he to work for free, each of the 200K employees could have had a $2.69 weekly increase. And some of you are difficult to take seriously with your grammar and inability to spell simple words.

The Board of Directors are elected by the shareholders every April. Shareholders are happy enough to vote them back in.

I bought at $32, it is holding there, but it keeps kicking a tax preferred dividend of 6%, which beats yield if the money is sitting in a bank.

And that dividend somewhat protects the stock from a further fall, unless interest rates start spiraling.

Thay do not know what there doing in board thay approved a big salary incraese even with at&t running record losses and spiraling to bankruptsy if this keeps up if randall took a reasonable salary it would have been enough to stop all layoffs the past 2 years that is ridiculus

Also referred to as nepotism, cronyism arises while our CEO holds an influential position position over the Board of Directors, they had continuously approved salary increases demonstrating preference, we all know that at least tree of them were selected without regard for qualifications, and results in sub optimal working conditions and a demoralized workforce
