VERIZON makes about 1.8 BILLION every month! That’s Profit not revenue, so after every bill is paid and every worker, and debt is paid, Verizon profits 1.8 BILLION every MONTH! There is a big problem with that because the striking WORKERS are not asking for more money, they are only asking to keep the jobs in the USA and save the retirees benefits. The CEO makes 350 thousand dollars every week. Everyone should be furious as hell, because the company should keep the jobs here in the USA and give customers a break on their monthly bill... I am sick and tired of these big businesses selling out the AMERICAN WORKERS and over charging the CUSTOMER. Verizon makes me sick, so sick I can’t stand working for those greedy b--tards.

The debt is from acquiring assets... don’t make such an ignorant statement if you can’t understand a financial statement.
They just cut the retirees phone discount from 50% to 25%. So instead of providing service at a zero cost to the company they now make money off the retirees. Isn't that beautiful. Present it as a benefit and screw the retiree. Thank goodness all directors and above still make their outrageous LONG TERM INCENIVE (LTI) bonus every year. Sure wouldn't want them to feel the impact of the expense cuts.
On top of my $18.5 1 million per year I get an extra $10 million in stock plus accrued dividends if I can survive 5 years. Big payoff for a guy fired from Ericsson. I'm not a US citizen and neither is Rohan. We aren't interested on keeping Verizon jobs in the USA. But I'm super excited about 5 gee.
What is even more amazing is they have $105 billion in debt. What a dumba$$ leadership team to rack up that kind of debt.
