Stock has just been downgraded to perform, from $40 to $35. Looks like the analysts are spotting holes in the business plan.

Karma is a b--ch and AT&T always gives you back what you deserve ...Sh--!
sweet, so is this the most in-debited non bank, private company in the world? there are thousands of companies with greater returns, financial advisors love speculative stocks for a reason, they are the only ones that get to gain from tour misery
Plenty of analysts believe the stock is currently significantly undervalued as well. That's the stock market, everyone has an opinion. As far as the doomsday types waiting for implosion of the company, it's not going to happen. Stop being a dummy. T will be here long after you're gone. If you have most of your 401K $$ allocated in the T Stock fund, you're a dummy as well. Obviously it has had a tough year but beyond that it is not and never has been a great pick in terms of growth. Shareholders invest in it primarily because of the dividend (go Google that now).
@ihb - Pension is backed by the Pension Benefit Guarantee corporation. As far as medical is concerned, for occupational, AT&T has guaranteed the Medigap (AON) through 2023.
No one is losing sleep over this.
Cook the books for next quaryer, is T only option, lmao
T stockholders, I’m not an analyst, but there are 20 company analysts that follow our stock. One analyst downgraded to market perform this morning.....no one followed, it would have been a good time to pile on if they were so inclined.
6 -Strong buy
2 - Buy
11- Hold
1- Sell
This is a fairly typical layout....overall T is rated a ‘Buy’ as of 8/21/18
Simply put, a buying opportunity is setting up again...only my opinion.
Don’t get nervous & jerky, let the new purchases have the chance to work. Nay sayers will be proven right or wrong in the quarterly report in November.....
AT&T is getting what it deserves after scamming consumers for so long. T will not be able to blend with TW culture. It’s AOL/TW all over again. With Stankey leading the fail, because you know he’s really knows the media buisiness, lol.
Final Implosion stage is near
Fargo knows something we don't, AT&T is the world's largest non-bank issuer of debt, according to Wells Fargo, and that second fact was a driver of the sell-side firm's Wednesday downgrade. T Can you sinking ship? Swim away from the SHIP,unticipate!!, so as to avoid the sell out, and if you're in the water, and there are not enough life jackets or flotation device s, we call diversification, YOU ARE condemned to ruination or death. when you are destined to an unhappy end.
Lets hope that those retiring in 10 years from now, were right about AT&T, my take ...directors could not buy more Stock, LOL, Randy probably forced them to do it
Left the company a while ago and flipped my pension into the 401k located away from "your money." Clear and untouchable now.
Great job Randy! AT&T is now so over-leveraged and in debt it's ready to topple. You retirees that think you have a pension and retiree medical waiting for you are kidding yourselfs. At the end of all this, AT&T will implode from this insane debt and your pensions and medical will vanish.
