Does anyone have any idea if I were to leave the company because of the commissions changes and making no money would i be able to get unemployment?

You can but it is not a guarantee. If you quit for any reason you can be denied but a mediator may grant you UC anyways due to Verizon adversely effecting your income of no fault of your own.
Focus on the fact that they changed your income out from under you and the commission change was detrimental to your income. I know two people who have done this, one with Verizon one with another company, and won.

You’re better off using Verizon unethical business practices as your basis for unemployment. And VZW doesn’t fight most claims. I know from experience.
Since you are leaving by choice, you won’t get unemployment. It doesn’t matter if the commission structure changed and you aren’t able to make a commission check. You are still getting you’re hourly check and that is the only that was guaranteed you would get when you accepted to work for Verizon as a commissioned employee.
VZW will fight that to the death. I say you have maybe a 10% chance with getting away with that.
Depends on state. And Commission work isn’t a scam its just that VZW plays games with their own employees. Most companies that work on com plans dont change them all the damn time like Verizon does and most are pretty straight forward not any of this bucket or multiplier c-ap you guys deal with.
No, that's why commission work is a scam. Don't ever take commission work. If you make your numbers, the plan will be changed. As you're finding out, commission work is slavery straight up.
