The plans changed for the Alabama Operations Center (AOC) because of things that happened with the surrounding area businesses and city interests. Because of those changes the sale fell thru for the 2nd time. The workers were relocated to the AOC because the deal fell thru not because of the old headquarters building being closed.
@1scp: mostly craft. Management mostly went to remote or data center.

Looks like plans have changed about selling the AOC building because when they closed down the City Center building downtown, they relocated the workers to the AOC building.
