Provide answers, but don't share with anyone how you derived the answer or solution... Keep that back as your proprietary information! The minute you share that, you are dispensable! Your approach to problem solving, the algorithms, all that, lock it up! Protect YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY!

Agreed, I automated my reporting job, and no one knows about it, keep things to yourself, it will help you in the long run in keeping your job, that is ..until the outsource bus arrives tho!

Not sharing sound too much like a union position. Not good for yourself, nor good for your team, nor good for the company.
AT&T is a terrible company to work for, there is no sense in making it worse
only people that are not comfortable with their own knowledge /skill set don't share information.. Bc that's all they know.
That always goes without saying for any job and/or employer . . . basically, you don't have to "show the work" as you did in school - just the answers. But, be damn sure you provide the "most correct"answers . . . :-)
