In our club full time associates must have open availability. No exception.
So ridiculous but your still commenting hummm I call bs when I see it 1-jqe
It’s great it works in your club kudos to you! Our club and all these part timers can’t work this need off by 3 can’t work weekends, people with open availability get the left over sh-- shifts. Don’t sit there and tell me it works bs that I have to have open being full time and part time get the gravy hours needs a balance all I’m saying.
Favoritism?? Think of this. If you had to view applications for hiring
purposes and the availability on these applications were what you have as preferred , would you even bother to interview them?
Example: no weekend availability,
or can only work to 5pm, no closing
shifts, etc. We work in retail. We need associates to open and close.
Fri,Sat and Sunday busiest days.
It is taking care of BUSINESS needs.
In our club associates are getting
their preferred hours however it might not be 40 or 32 . When they complain , pull out their availability
sheet. Most will change their availability toget more hours.
Of course you work what we want you to. Its ur job. What job out there do you tell the managers what u wanna work? This site is getting ever more ridiculous.
If your full time and you want your hours you must have open availability in my club. If yiou only get 32 hours because you say you cant work weekends thats on you.
Same in our club there is so much favoritism it’s not even funny, what happened to fairness and work ethic, now it’s how much one can kiss the asses of member experience manager and compliance manager 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Preferred hours don’t mean sh--, it’s a Walmart way to make you think your getting what you want! Reality you work what they want you to, and if your a favorite then you’ll get your preferred hours.
Preferred hours is simply that. You can say what hours you’d “prefer” but they can schedule any hours as long as they are within your availability. Being full-time you should have open availability or close to it.
