Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Any news for hcm or rn/cm

I am at a loss. Everyone is so overwhelmed with work in our region. A new process every day. Morale is depleted, attrition is high. I can't help but fear that we are ramping up for layoffs soon. Execs leaving each month. Now we are being told it is either PCS or monitored by August: 3 weeks.

Does anyone have any info about this? I am applying for jobs but we all landed here for one personal reason or another. I am trying to go with the flow and pray about the rest.

Please, y'all, think about this-- if what the poster says is true, and execs are leaving each month-- demands are higher, support lower, and so much more mess, it is rats leaving a sinking ship! Please take care of yourselves and get out... the company does not deserve your loyalty, life or anything else.

The movement makes sense, since they stopped stay healthy and wanted to focus on the higher quadrant members, and there was a town hall where they said the enrollment expectations would be increased members. Members need to be moved if there are b---s--- care plans in place or no real need to keep them on if they can manage on their own

We were told to move everyone to PCS or monitored because there are thousands of members waiting to be enrolled in HAH. Our COM told us it was imperative as it related to the future of HAH. I anticipate more layoffs if this new call model is not successful. Everything is so unorganized. I am grateful to be able to work from home, but I am over stressing about Humana. All I can do is do my job to the best of my ability.

We've been told to take OT if needed. Most of us don't want it, but our COM has been clear it is available as needed. It also was made VERY clear to NOT be working off the clock as this is a liability for Humana & sets false expectations of what is a realistic workload. Who can know what's next to come? I'm concerned about future layoffs also but since that is beyond my control I just carry on. (RN/CM)

Many work over in our area and are told no overtime pay as it is not for keeping up with the overwhelming workload. Told to take time off instead., and are not able too due to the workload. So long hours happen without overtime. Many are miserable. Not thinking it will improve. No longer a healthy place to work. In my area, job hunting is in process.

We aren’t allowed overtime at all on our team. And if we work over one day during the week we have start late or take long lunch. Absolutely cannot leave early on Friday, why??????

It’s aweful. They are constantly asking us to work overtime of course people are going to feel pressured to do it but we’re burning out they don’t have enough staff and they told people and the SNP dept that they are hiring. I don’t know how anybody is going to learn this job is so complicated and difficult it’s going to take months and months to get anybody up to speed. Expected to not leave before all of our calls are completed and that means forced overtime

Everyone is miserable.
