I work in a large call center in Texas, our director is over another call center as well in the SE, rumor heard was that call center is shutting down because of numbers. Has anyone heard that?

Per federal law, any company planning a layoff must notify the unemployment commission in that state at least 60 days in advance. The unemployment commission in that state publishes something called a WARN notice which shows you the date it was notified and the date of the anticipated layoff. A simple internet search will tell you all you want to know. I personally looked up the info for several states just for grins. Look for yourself and know the facts.
I believe I may work at this particular center and haven't heard anything other than one in kentucky is closing. A lot of us have felt that this would happen to us as people are leaving and the environment has become more toxic

Heard sept 15 will be when make decision on these but that specificly is a fourteen day window on CIP notice
