Head count can remain static but this does not stop them from replacing U.S. workers with off shore contractors. At the end of the quarter the count would seem unchanged.
I think that Stankey wants HBO to generate more content, so I don't see layoffs. Anyhow, AT&T filed a 8K with the SEC indicating that headcount at Time Warner would remain constant for now.
