Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

New Head of HR

Announced today that the new head of HR was head of HR at WALMART. I guess Sloan and company have given up all pretense of looking like they give a cr*p about "team members". So glad to be retiring soon. This is not the company I joined. All they care about now is the bottom line and payouts to shareholders. Re-established in 2018, but as what?

I can remember years back when Wells Fargo hired an HR manager to be their 'hatchet man'. Yes, slash and dash employees out the door through layoffs. In all fairness, they are no different than most other greedy corporations who are more concerned with their Surfdom than the peasants who make them successful. If you can find loyalty, it's rare, therefore don't expect it. Work to earn a paycheck but if approached with a better opportunity, leave. You don't have to be loyal to corporations anymore.

They and the rest of the executives should be starving and homeless.

Tellers and are their to manage a cash register and upsell customers on financial products that's why it's called "retail banking."

He was hired because HR was never to address employee issues about management or employee misconduct in general, but to protect the company from litigation and its interests. So Hope Hardison and her boss Tim Sloan had approved this hire to subjugate employees to a continuing hostile environment, but they needed someone who won't get caught during their damage control.

Tellers are not retail. They are Bankers. Who ever corrected the narrative above absolutely has the same mentally as upper management.

Head of HR for retail companies? Walmart Macy’s MGM Enterainment? It is well known that Walmart does not treat their employees well. The atmosphere in Walmart is always disgruntled employees. We are Bankers not retail personnel. I thought we were over the retail store astmophere? I was just starting to truly believe in upper management.
